Graphite Rod

Product Overview

PG Coated Graphite Rod is a tubular component made from high-purity graphite with a dense pyrolytic graphite (PG) coating applied via CVD. It retains graphite’s high strength and high-temperature resistance while offering uniform thermal conductivity, low chemical reactivity, and low gas permeability. The smooth coating minimizes material adhesion and impurity release. Suitable for high-temperature (1500–2000 °C) and vacuum or inert atmosphere conditions, it can be used stably for long-term, high-precision thermal processes.

Applications:

Semiconductor Processes:Used in high-temperature annealing of silicon wafers and pre-processing before thin-film deposition. Serves as a reaction tube or carrier gas channel, providing uniform heat transfer to ensure stable process temperatures. Its low-contamination properties prevent adverse effects on semiconductor device performance.

Material Purification:Employed for high-temperature gas-phase purification of high-purity metals or compounds. Low gas permeability isolates external impurities, and inert coatings prevent reactions between the material and tube walls.

Research and Laboratory Experiments:Acts as a reaction vessel or sample protection tube in high-temperature pyrolysis and gas-phase reaction testing, meeting stringent temperature and atmospheric requirements to ensure accurate experimental results.
